Most of what I inspect in Killeen is newer construction, homes built from the 1990s forward, with a heavy concentration of new builds tied to Fort Hood’s housing demand. Newer doesn’t mean problem-free. I consistently find sewer lines in new builds containing construction debris, water intrusion from improperly sloped window installations, and roofing issues from lower-quality shingles and installation.
